Q. What is OneNote? It?s on all my Ribbons.
A. OneNote, which is an application that works with all your Microsoft Office applications as well as by itself, collects content of all types: text, pictures, presentation slides, audio elements and video elements.
So for an upcoming online meeting, for example, you might choose to create a OneNote notebook to hold the meeting notice. Then later you could add the slides that are being presented, your meeting notes and the audio recording of the session, all in one place. You could then share your OneNote notebook with others, who perhaps couldn?t attend.
You can take OneNote to a higher level and create a wiki-like document with step-by-step procedures, resource files and photos of the process in action. OneNote obviates having to search for content that?s all related.
